How to Play "E-Chord Study"
"E-Chord Study" is a good drill for learning the difference (in shape and quality) between the E major, E minor, and E dominant seventh chords. Your performance of "E-Chord Study" will be on your next video assessment. Use the following steps to play "E-Chord Study."
- Strum an E minor chord four times.
- Add your first finger to form an E major chord. Strum four times.
- Lift your third finger to form an E dominant seventh chord. Strum four times.
- Add your third finger to form an E major chord. Strum four times.
- Lift your first finger to form an E minor chord. Strum once, allowing the sound to fade away.
