Reading Guitar Tablature

When reading guitar tablature, start at the left and read to the right (the same as if you were reading a book):

• In "Low String Boogie," begin by playing the open sixth string.
• Then play sixth string at the fourth fret.
• Next play the fifth string at the second fret.
• Now play the fifth string at the fourth fret.
• Play the fourth string open.
• Continue until you reach the double bar line.
