When you play music, you have choices. You can play music that someone else composed, or you may use your acquired skills to create your own music.

Music is often created without the use of notation or prior memorization. This process of creating a musical composition is called improvisation. In this lesson, you will learn how to improvise music using the E minor pentatonic scale.
