Performance Goals for "Spanish Song"
Quick Start for the Right Hand
Practice "Spanish Song" until you can answer "yes" to the following questions:
- Are you holding the guitar correctly, using the classical position?*
- Is your guitar tuned correctly?
- Are you using correct right-hand fingers and form to play the free-stroke pattern?
- Are you playing correct frets with proper left-hand form?
- Are you playing with a steady beat (without pausing), no matter how slowly you play?
*Reminder: You will use classical position for your next two assessments. For the remainder of the course you may use the position of your choice.
When you have accomplished the performance goals for "Spanish Song," you will then be ready to complete your assignment for this lesson.
