Quick Start for the Right Hand
In this lesson you learned to:
- Play a right-hand fingerstyle pattern using free strokes.
- Use the classical position to hold the guitar.
- Use your left-hand fingers to play notes on the first string.
- Practice a piece of guitar music.
- Play an arrangement of a classical guitar piece.
You will now record and submit a video performance of "Spanish Song" for assessment:
- Before submitting your video performance, rate your performance using the rubric.
- When you receive your grade, compare your self-evaluation with your teacher’s assessment.
- Save your self-evaluation for your next Discussion-Based Assessment with your teacher.
02.01 Assignment Instructions
The assessment for lesson 02.01 will be a video performance of "Spanish Song."
- Video record yourself playing "Spanish Song" from beginning to end
- You may record with or without a metronome
- You may use a printed copy of the "Spanish Song" score as you play
