Course Requirements
Getting Started
Guitar I is divided into ten modules of content (five modules in each segment), as indicated above the guitar on the Home page.
You should work on each module in the order presented. If you are taking both segments, you must complete all modules within Segment One before starting Segment Two.
For this course you will need a playable six-string guitar and a video recording device (such as a web cam with microphone, digital video recorder, or cell phone with video option).
Early in the course (in Lesson 01.02) you will be required to submit a video of yourself and your guitar to your instructor. The purpose of this assignment is to make sure your video recording device is working properly.
Beginning with Lesson 01.04, you will be required to maintain and submit a practice journal for each module in the Guitar I course. Instructions will be provided to you in Lesson 01.04.   Â
